For purchasing new and used textbooks, please see the VIU Bookstore's online Shopping for Textbooks tool. Alternatively, you may want to try the VIU Student Union used bookstore, which operates on a consignment model and where prices are set by students.

With few exceptions, the library does not have textbooks in the general collection. However, it is always worth a quick title search because occasionally we may have an older edition that will work just fine for your course. Just be sure to check with your instructor!

Please also check the library Course Reserves— textbooks available for short-term loans— available at the Library Service Desk. Please see our FAQ on Course Reserves for more details, or try a Course Reserves search by instructor or course code.
